Formed in 2011 as a class project and merger between Communication Studies and Journalism, SierraCollegeUndergroundMedia (SCUM) became Sierra College’s one and only student produced streaming radio/tv station. 100% non-profit, content produced & run entirely by student volunteers. As the station rebranded in 2015 to KSCM, a response to the program learning objectives, broader media programming, fantastic partnerships, and diverse content that brought SCUM's media holdings from underground to above ground. KSCM is located in the library of the Sierra College Rocklin campus. Our on-air personalities who produce a variety of podcasts, television, and film are the backbone of the station and there are 12 radio presenters & content producers creating shows for your listening pleasure and 4 amazing directors for your viewing pleasure. Whether you are interested in Rock, Alt, Hip-Hop, RPM, Punk, Metal, Jazz, Blues, World, Country, Old-Time Radio, or Talk & Sports, KSCM, SCUMradio & SCUMtv has something for you, and is always looking for more on-air talent.
